Welcome to Retreat at Palma Sola Bay, a rare waterfront estate offering over an acre of lush tropical landscaping and more than 150 feet of direct bay frontage. Designed for large families, multi-generational trips, and group retreats, this expansive property blends coastal charm with elevated comfort — all just minutes from Anna Maria Island.

As you arrive, tropical palms and manicured grounds frame the home, Inside, hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, and a dramatic wall of windows immediately draw your attention to the water views.

The open-concept main living space flows effortlessly from the gourmet kitchen to the living area and into the screened lanai. The chef’s kitchen features ample counter space, high-end appliances, and everything needed to prepare large family meals. Whether you’re hosting a sunset dinner or casual brunch, the indoor and outdoor dining spaces offer combined seating for up to 20 guests.

The screened lanai overlooks the pool, spa, and sweeping bay views — making it the perfect space for morning coffee or evening cocktails as boats drift by.

The main home offers 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and 2 half baths.
On the main floor, the primary suite features a King bed and Twin bed, a spacious ensuite bath with walk-in shower, and a large soaking tub. Just off the living area, a second bedroom offers a King bed and easy access to the main living spaces.
Upstairs, two additional bedrooms provide privacy and space. One features two Queen beds and a private bath. The other offers a King bed with a private bath. A tucked-away loft space offers a quiet retreat, and the upstairs balcony delivers incredible sunset views over Palma Sola Bay.

Across the expansive pool deck, a detached guest house provides additional space for up to 8 guests — ideal for extended family or guests wanting added privacy.
The main area offers a sleeper sofa, and upstairs is a 2 Queen beds and 2 twin beds and a little nook with couch. Downstairs living space with beautiful bay views, kitchenette, full bath, and attached game room. Located in the game room you have Pop a Shot, Ping Pong Table, and Dart Bard.

From the spa, the upstairs balcony, or the private dock, you’ll enjoy panoramic views across Palma Sola Bay with vibrant evening skies reflecting over the water. Follow the path from the pool deck across the manicured lawn to your private dock. Fish directly from the dock (no license required), watch dolphins and manatees pass by, or tie up your boat for the duration of your stay. Nearby causeway ramps make boat launching easy.

Retreat at Palma Sola Bay is ideally located just minutes from the world-class white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach. Walk to the Palma Sola Causeway for jet ski rentals, kayaking, paddleboarding, or horseback riding along the water.
You’re also conveniently positioned near Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, and Tampa — offering dining, shopping, entertainment, and cultural attractions while still enjoying the peace of a private waterfront retreat.

* One of the Garages is not available for use or access.
* Boat lift not available for renter use.
* Pool heat included with the rental rate.
* Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 85° is the highest heat temperature setting. Pool temperatures will probably stay around 76° during the winter months. Please note if cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may take longer to heat.

Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee (“Management”), plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”).
The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $1,500 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

"The property is beautiful, has awesome views, great landscaping. We love the pool, hot tub, boat dock. The kitchen has all the appliances that you might need , and lots of dishes, utensils, and glasses that are useful for a large group. The house also has all the beach chairs, towels, hats and a wagon that were very useful for our day at the beach. The bicycles were added bonus! The neighborhood is friendly and safe. It's in a perfect location, not too far from the beautiful beach of Anna Maria Island and not far from town. The host checked in on us immediately after check in to make sure there isn't any problem. Our whole family really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend the property.

"Awesome view and sunset! The house is in a beautiful location right next to the water, with an amazing view and breathtaking sunsets. The pool and amenities are really nice — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. The house itself is spacious and ideal for big families, with plenty of room for everyone, and it’s also pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. The host was super proactive and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend!

"The property was amazing and beyond our expectations, the kitchen was stocked with dining & cookware, there was a book in the front that gave clear directions on procedures for departure and arrival, host checked in with us an made sure our arrival went good. The views at this property are amazing ! the dock is exceptional plenty of space at the end to sit , fish and hang out. Publix is right outside of the neighborhood. I could really go on and on about this location it really was great and so close to everything I cant wait to stay again!

"This was our 2nd time staying in the Bradenton area and this house did not disappoint. As we pulled up we were welcomed by the smell of star jasmine that was blooming around the property. Monarch butterflies were all around us while we sat poolside watching the daily horseback riding through Palma Sola Bay. We were lucky and watched the dolphins swimming nearby on a couple afternoons. The property manager was responsive when we had a issues with the a/c sending a service company immediately. We would come back with our family.

Amazing Location

"We had a great 4 night stay in Bradenton. Amazing location with beautiful property grounds and views of the bay and wildlife. Access to restaurants was convenient as well as a short drive to AMI for beach days. The backyard, pool and dock were so relaxing to enjoy the weather, swim and successfully catch and release multiple Catfish and Jacks. The beds, living room and patio furniture were all very comfortable. The main kitchen was well organized and stocked with plenty of room for groceries, snacks and drinks. We enjoyed the table tennis and pop a shot in the garage, as well as the corn hole boards in the yard. The only issue was the refrigerator and stove in the cabana were not working but the property management company noted they were aware of it once it was communicated and a work order was already open. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend the property to those considering places in the area.

"This place is fantastic , the house have beautiful views and beautiful really maintained garden with beautiful coconut and palm trees. Pool was really clean and the most important , pool heather and spa worked perfectly during entire stay , spa temperature actually gets hot witch is great . We found everything we needed in the house , kitchen was loaded and lots of beaches chairs , fishing’s rods, beach tent and much more . I didn’t need to buy anything. We had lots of fun fishing by private dock and enjoyed dolphins on the sea ! Already looking forward to come back . Thank you

"We just had a week-long family vacation at this property and it was the perfect choice. The layout of the main house and the guest house was great for a group of our adult children and their families. The house was very well equipped and a great vacation. My favorite part was the incredible sunsets!!! There were a few minor things that needed fixing, but they came out right away to try to work it out. Overall, I highly recommend.

"We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and beautiful home. It had lots of space for our group of 10. We enjoyed seeing dolphins in the morning and so much nightlife while sitting on the dock at night. We only had one issue and it’s that the guest house bedroom was too warm and humid so it was uncomfortable for them to sleep up there. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved for the the next guests. Otherwise it was a great stay. We would definitely return should we be in the area again.

"Our extended family had a wonderful vacation at this property! "The house is great, with plenty of space for people. The garage/bunk house had more stuff for to use for entertainment. Only issue was the water dispenser and ice machine in the refrigerator didn’t work very consistently, and there didn’t appear to be a lot of hot water in the master bathroom. Had to pick up an extra bag of ice in order to accommodate all the folks staying at the house. House, pool, yard, and kitchen were put to good use! Would stay there again if needed!

"Evenings on the back deck with the breeze blowing were amazing. Watching the horses in the water, fishing of the dock. We had a great time. We had 12 and had no issues with space. The pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of amenities and things to do. 4 miles to the beach and you could ride a bike there if you wanted to. Can't say enough, it was amazing. Clean and well kept.

"A beautiful, tastefully appointed, and with everything you could possibly need and want, place to stay. It was an awesome week. Though our time there was spent mostly working nearby, coming back to this place at the end of a long days work was like a gift. I heard many evening hours were spent at the PacMan game and ping pong table. Of course our crew will now expect every experience to be compared to this one --- I don't think we can top your place. Congratulations on an all around perfect place to stay, for any reason.

"Large spacious home. Convenient location. A short walk to causeway. A dock for fishing and to put in our kayaks. The pool and hot tub was warm and welcoming. Several refrigerators on site to keep our beverages ice cold. Close to the beaches yet far enough away from the vacation crowds. The sunsets were magnificent! My only concern was the shower situation. There are three showers in the main house all of which were en suite. There is one BR, in the house, that did not have access to a shower without disturbing others. The bonus room above the garage had a full bathroom available but it was shared with our guest staying in the bonus room. And a side note - not a concern; we bought our own but the TP was one ply. I recommend better TP for your guest.

"This house was a great fit for our annual family trip! Every year we book something for our 3 kids/spouses and their combined 6 grandkids ranging in age from 4 to 16 years old. They just finished an upgrade on the whole house, and it showed. The layout of this compound made for the perfect mix of time together with all of us, and separate spaces for the different aged grandkids to do their thing. We stayed in the primary master on the ground floor with a huge walk in bathroom, our two sons whose kids are aged 4 to 8 years old stayed in the main house with us, and loved sleeping together in the bunkbed room. Our daughter, and her three teenagers, stayed in the separate guest house, which kept the teenage noise away from the early bedtime kiddos :) The house has water and sunset views from all the rooms, as well as from our favorite spot -- the pool and hot tub. Everything was nicely stocked and had what we needed - including lots of extras like a great book selection, 3 bikes to explore around the area, fishing gear, and fun games (sit down video gaming thing with pacman and all the old good ones, corn hole, pop-a-shot, croquet, etc). We took advantage of the private dock and rented jet skis for the week, and the little ones enjoyed fishing from it -- and seeing a manatee! We loved the island beaches which were super close and family friendly. Everyone loved this trip -- one of our all time favorite times together. The owners quickly responded to any questions while at the property (thank you Erik and Shauna for setting up the jet ski rental). I highly recommend booking this house to anyone looking for a sunny Florida family vacation.

"Absolutely loved the property, just beautiful and location, close to everything we wanted/needed to do!! Only a couple of small negatives...not quite enough dishes, dishwasher needs replaced (no dishwasher detergent, really?) bathroom towels what you get at cheap hotels ( a home this beautiful should do better than cheap out on towels). The negatives are small, loved absolutely everything else about the home!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Great House in a Great Location

"House was perfect for six adults. We enjoyed our time there. Also, proximity to the beaches was excellent - everything within 5-15 minutes depending on where we went. Met the owner of the house while there - a very nice man. They had an issue with the wifi (was working intermittently). Not his fault and he did everything he could to expedite the repairs. We did not find the kitchen to be quite as bare as some other reviewers had mentioned. Plenty of glasses and plates and cups for our party of six. Big great/family room - plenty large enough for six adults to watch TV on the large 70" HD TV. Huge Island in kitchen with either 4 or 5 stools. Island was massive so several people could sit or eat there very comfortably. Bed in master bedroom was "squeaky". Could not figure out why or how to sort that. Every time I or my wife rolled over in bed it made a decent amount of noise. Master bath is huge (completely separate areas for two people to get ready). Shower in master bath was massive. I do think they ought to update some of the pictures - especially the one of the patio which shows a fire pit - there is no fire pit on property. Also, only four beach chairs is a bit light for a 3 bedroom home. We bought two inexpensive ones from Publix and left those there upon exiting. They were ok and hopefully they have been left for other guests. Also, no beach umbrella. Management company was OK to deal with. Not the most responsive. They typically responded to my pre-trip inquiries within a day or two, but if I sent a follow up that was ignored. I've had better experience dealing with property owners when renting on VRBO, but you can't control that.

Vacation in paradise

"Heading home after a week here with our adult children. The house and property are absolutely beautiful! Ample room for the 6 of us with location close to restaurants and shopping centers. The pool, hot tub, and back patio were amazing. Enjoyed many quiet/ peaceful sunrises and sunsets out back with a stunning view of the water! Hard to leave but hope to be back next year!

"Home was well equipped, in great shape, and had a wonderful screened in porch. Pool and hot tub were tons of fun. Beach towels were included so no need to bring any. Nice long dock with sitting area. We launched paddle boards and kayaks from the pier which took a little work but was fine. No water access except from high dock/pier due to mangroves. TV were very new with great channels although we only turned on once for 2 hours. Too much other stuff to do. Beware, pool has no depth markers and does go from 4 ft to 6 ft quickly in middle.
