Montauks Point is a 2,800-square-foot, split-plan 5 bedroom house in Bradenton's Palma Sola area, built for a large group that wants to be together without being on top of each other. The split plan keeps the master suite apart from the other bedrooms, so couples, kids and grandparents each get a corner of their own.

Your resort starts at the back door. The private pool sits inside a screened lanai with sun loungers, a covered rattan lounge, an outdoor bar and a dining table for the whole crew. Past the pool, the fenced backyard has a turf putting green, a propane fire pit ringed by blue Adirondack chairs for s'mores, cornhole, and a gas grill ready for cookouts.

Inside, the open kitchen, dining and living area fills with light from sliding glass doors that frame the pool. A retro Pac-Man cabinet waits in the living room, a wall-mounted Smart TV, and a long white sectional seats everyone for movie night. Board games like Sorry! are stocked for rainy afternoons. The kitchen is fully stocked, with updated stainless appliances, granite counters and a breakfast bar, and the dining table seats eight under a lighthouse mural.

There is a TV in every bedroom, so nobody fights over the remote. You also get a washer and dryer, a dedicated workspace, and a pack 'n play and high chair for the littlest guests.

Palma Sola Pines is a quiet neighborhood in west Bradenton, between Palma Sola Bay and the Gulf beaches. Everything below is a short drive from the front door:

- Robinson Preserve (kayaking, trails and birding): a few minutes

Who This Home Is Best For
Large group trips: five bedrooms, three baths and room for 14 guests mean nobody is crammed in. Family vacation with kids: a pool they will not leave, bunk beds to argue over, and a fenced yard to roam. Multi-generation gatherings: past guests hosted four generations aged 5 to 87 with privacy for everyone. Cousins and friends: six women on a reunion found the beds comfortable and the backyard the place to be. Family wedding weekends: a past group stayed here for a wedding on the island. IMG Academy families: the campus is about 5 miles away. Dog owners: this is a pet friendly house, and the fenced backyard gives your pup room to run.

Guest Access
Check yourself in with the smart lock; your code arrives before you do, and check-in is after 4:00 PM. You have the entire home to yourselves: all five bedrooms, three bathrooms, the full kitchen, the screened pool, covered patio, fire pit, putting green and fenced yard. Nothing is shared. Anchor Down's local team is on call throughout your stay.

Parking
There is free parking on the property, with room for 4 vehicles in total, including the garage. Pull in, unload the bags and head straight through the front door. This is a single-level home, so there are no stairs to haul luggage up, and the beach gear is stored in the garage for easy loading.

House Rules
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is before 10:00 AM, for up to 14 guests. Pets are welcome with prior approval and a $100 fee per pet; the number of pets is limited and aggressive breeds are not allowed. No parties or events without approval and an event fee. Please keep music down after 10 PM. Smoking is outdoors only ($500 cleaning fee if smoke is found indoors). Please clean the grill after each use, leave the games and books at the house. The guestbook has trash days and wifi details.
*Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 85° is the highest heat temperature setting. Pool temperatures will probably stay around 76° during the winter months. Please note if cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may take longer to heat.

Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee (“Management”), plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”).
The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $1,500 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

"Great house, large enough for an extended family getaway. Kitchen was very well stocked. Large warm pool with basketball nets surrounded by a very large covered lanai was the perfect family gathering spot. Quick drive to several beaches, Coquina was our favorite. Several local seafood markets to pick up fresh shrimp and fish. We could have stayed much longer, it was so fun!! Highly recommend!!

"This house was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone and from two year old to teenagers to have their own space. The neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible. You don't have to travel far to get to a store or the beach. The house was beautiful and clean and the outside area around the pool ended up being everyone's favorite hang out spot. We would definitely go back!

"Beautiful home!!! We were visiting, meeting up with family members from other areas for a family wedding. It housed all 9 of us comfortably & still room to spare! All of our favorite area was definitely thr outside area by the pool!!! It was so relaxing, cool with the fans & the kids lived in the pool when we were there. So close to the Island, where the wedding was, so it was a easy ride! Close to grocery stores, restaurants, mini golf... all kinds of things to stay busy. This property was also dog friendly, so our pup enjoyed walks in the neighborhood & sunning out on the patio. We had a few issues & responsive very quickly for most issues. Our biggest issue was the wifi would not stayed connected to any device, even the ones in the house. It was almost impossible to watch anything, or our kids to do some work for school on laptops. I am not sure this was an issue the owners could control but did say they are contacting a technician to come see what the issue is

"We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything we needed was there. Perfect place for 2 families. My mother in law loved the putting green and my husband and son played pac man at least 2 times a day. The kids loved the pool and it was nice to sit outside and watch a movie on the out door tv set while the kids were swimming. With the back being covered we even got to enjoy being outside when it rained (which it only did once in the evening). There is nothing more you could ask for. Even a short 5-6 minute walk to the water to see the sun set. Shopping is close and even met some of the neighbors who were out were extremely welcoming. This was the perfect spot for us and my in-laws to have a great vacation. So many bedrooms everyone had the choice of their own room which was great. We had to reach out to the property hosts to ask a few questions and got a response within 30 minutes of reaching out. Went to the beach for a day and everything we needed (chairs, umbrellas, towels, wagon) including beach games were there for us to use. The cooler was perfect so we could take lunch and drinks with us. It was quite difficult to leave and we can't wait to go back again!!!!!

"We really enjoyed our stay. The large home was recently updated with some new furniture. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, updated appliances, paper towels, baggies, and necessary cooking equipment. The pool was well maintained and there were even beach and pool toys provided. It is right by the water, which made for a great daily walk destination. The host was very responsive when messaged. Getting to local attractions was easy at this location as it is just a short drive to Anna Maria Island.

"We really love this house and we will definitely book here again! It was clean and had almost everything we needed. The pool was so fun and entertained our kids constantly. The set up of the house is perfect for families because you walk into the home and there are four bedrooms on the main part of the house and then there is the master bedroom off the other end. It keeps everyone separate and gives some breathing room. Tons of beach stuff at the house, so no need to go buy anything. There is also a pack and play at this house. We called the rental company and they told us there wasn’t one so we had to buy one when we got there..they have one in one of the closets. There is also a binder in the House and it has al the instructions for check out, which were easy!!, where to go to eat, fun things to do and more. For our first night we had Danny’s pizza delivered and it was so good!!! We also had the best day out of our trip at CoastLine Excursions. My kids won’t stop talking about it. There was only one thing we disliked, the master bedroom mattress is super soft. Like we rolled in it. My husband hates the bed and slept terrible all week. We will 100% stay here again!!!

"We are snowbirds who came to Florida for a golf trip. Five men stayed in our group ages 50's to 70's. This VRBO is well stock, organized and well maintained. This very clean home would be great for families who would love using the pool. Three good size TV's in the common areas including the pool deck, awesome for the sports lovers in your group. "At first, I thought the home was a bit pricey compared to others I have rented but upon arrival I had zero complaints! The home is immaculate! The pool and patio area is gorgeous. We had guests of four generations ranging in age from 5- to 87-years old, and this home had enough space that everyone had privacy and were comfortable in their own spaces. This home is by far the best I've rented (and my family rented a large cabin on Norris Lake last July that was nearly $10k for the week). This one is definitely on my list to come back. The kitchen was very well stocked. The pans weren't all worn out and scratched like you find at most Airbnb homes. The appliances were all in great shape and worked well. There wasn't a thing more that anyone could need from a vacation getaway home. We paid to have the pool heated and one day the water stopped circulating and heating. I called AnchorDown and they had someone at the house to fix the issue within ten minutes! 100% SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

"This is our second time staying here and I believe it got better lol. It fits our family comfortably and makes for a great relaxing experience!!! Pros: 1. It has everything you could dream of for the beach. We literally had to bring Nothing. 2. The kitchen gadgets and supplies are better than some of the 8 bedroom, $12,000 homes I have stayed in. 3. All aplliances work!!! 4. The towels and blackers were really nice. Many other homes have cheap/rough items. 5. It is close to everything! Grocery, fast food, and just 11 minutes from Anna Maria Beach. 6. Gas for the grill. Hallelujah! 7. The pool deck was so clean and so was all of the house. 8. Feels like home! Cons: 1. The beds are too soft. This is a very small critique but perhaps consider getting a 2 inch mattress topper. We didnt sleep the best. 2. The bugs on the outdoor furniture. We got eatened alive. One family member got bit 40 times. It was rough. We know this because they were the only one on that couch. Overall SO GOOD!

"This is a great place for a large family. We traveled with a total of 10 and we had lots of room. The pool is great and the house even had beach chairs and toys for a beach trip. "We have been renting in the Bradenton area since 2006 and this place was by far the best one yet! We spent most of our time in the outside pool area. The weather was perfect. The house is very spacious, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need just like at home. And so close to Anna Maria Island. It was the perfect vacation!

"We had a wonderful stay at Kristi’s place! We are a family of 6 and were visiting the area for the first time and couldn’t have asked for a better home and a better location. The house was well stocked for everything we needed since we cooked most of our meals at home. The fully covered pool was great for our kids. Most of the beaches are about 10-20 minutes drive and most of the stores/restaurants are with in a few minutes. We would stay in the house again if we visit the area!

"My group rented this property for a long stay. The house has everything you need to make your stay wonderful. House is close to the beach (Anna Marie Island), shopping and restaurants. Bedrooms are nice size, kitchen had plenty of pots/pans etc. but by far the best part of this property is the backyard living area. Just a beautiful yard/pool, you will spend all your time here as we did. The only negative to report is the 'pool heater' is a bit noisy. Overall we give this property 5 stars, and Kristi and here team respond promptly when needed and get 5 stars as well. Thank-you

"This property far exceeded our expectations! Beautiful house, amazing pool area! Our children swam every morning and night, perfect! Had everything we needed and more. Our only complaint was the noseeums (mosquitoes) they were quite annoying and we all had terrible bites. Aside from the outdoor mosquitoes it was incredible!!!

"Everything was great. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. 5 bedrooms meant that everyone could have their own room. Huge pool meant the kids had room to play. They even had a high chair for the baby! We will be sure to stay again when we return to town.

"Our family enjoyed our stay at this house. It was close to the beaches and all the necessities. Nice neighborhood that we felt safe to let the kids take a walk. The house was spacious and provided ample space for 9. The outside pool/patio area is where we spent most of the time. This property is highly recommended.

"This house was perfect for our large multi-generational family ranging in age from 17 - 74. It was a convenient drive to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. We especially appreciated the large kitchen, long dining table, large swimming pool and two indoor family rooms which provided plenty of space for eating and hanging out. And our hostess was immediately responsive whenever we needed anything. We would definitely return!

"Kristi's place was great! Our stay was for 6 adults and we had an amazing time. We had paid for the pool to be heated ahead of getting there which was really nice at night, but did make it a little too hot during the day. If you're staying during 70s temperature days, definitely do not add heating. Home is set up to be very family friendly, between the large living room, dining table and number of beds I can see why the place is very popular. Overall it was a great choice for our group and I will definitely be staying again in the future.

"We found Montauks Point vacation home to be spacious and well stocked with everything we needed for the week. Lots of extra towels, dishes, kitchen gadgets, pool and beach toys. The covered space outside by the pool is wonderful for those times when it was raining and we still wanted to be outdoors. We had a group of 10 family members from 80 years old to 19 . The only problem was the pool heater was not on when we arrived. We contacted the property manager the morning of day 2 and she sent someone out to turn it on. It was very loud and ran all day. The pool was up to temp on day 3 and was very enjoyable from then on! I would rent this property again. It is in a great location for the beaches, grocery stores, etc.

"We paid extra to heat the pool and it was well worth it. We had cool mornings and evenings so we were able to use it more. Plenty of towels unlike other rentals, and a bonus was the well stocked kitchen pantry items left by previous guests. It would gave been nice to sleep in cooler air conditioner temps but we all had a great time.

"This place is perfect for large groups and has everything you need for the beach/pool! If you rent this place, I would check the house for everything first before you buy anything extra. For example, we had plenty of trash bags, laundry detergents and coffee filters. We loved our stay here and would stay again if we come back to the Bradenton area. "Our family spent New Year's at this property and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and has great amenities. It took us only about 10 minutes to get to the beach (which is free to park!) and having the option to heat the pool was great! We spent countless hours in the pool, especially at night! We were able to take our dog and enjoyed the strolls around the neighborhood. Highly recommended and definitely a place we would go back to!

"Our family of 8 had plenty of space to spread out. Enjoyed having two separate living rooms. Granddaughter could enjoy watching Disney in the main living room and son-in-law enjoyed watching sports in the other living room. Shower in master bedroom is absolutely amazing. Pool was enjoyed by all every day. Plenty of beach supplies that was really handy. Short driving distance to the beaches and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious clean pool house

"We had such an amazing time! This home was clean and spacious for our family of 10. The pool was such a good size and the closed in Pool area was where we spent a lot of time. The beach was about 15 minutes away which was a plus! We had great communication with the property manager. This house came with everything you would need. Everything was provided in the kitchen as well as plenty of bathtowels or pool towels. All the rooms were decorated very nicely they were all spacious and they all came with ceiling fans which was a great plus. We love that there was a bathroom that was a shared bathroom with bedrooms and the pool area. The king master Room was so spacious and perfect for us. I will say that some of the beds like the one in the master were very squeaky and not real comfortable so it sounds like it may be time to update those bed frames and mattresses. Some of us slept good and some not so good but the over all house was great! Would definitely stay again and recommend this place! Cleanliness means everything and this place was spot on! Thank you for providing a wonderful rental, clean pool, house and great location.

"Property manager was great to communicate with. Not crazy about the seashell yard Beds are very uncomfortable. Very noisy. I would recommend getting heating for the pool. That was an option, we just did not do it because we weren’t sure how much we would be in it. Turns out the children were in it all the time. Overall nice place to stay and plenty of room for our family.

Great winter retreat

"the house was just as advertised and the pool is fabulous. plenty of seating and tv's everywhere although we rarely used them. Nate the property manager was fantastic, the couple of minor problems we had were taken care of immediately and that included replacing the grill in about an hour. The location is great for getting to the island and golf courses.
