Common Spaces

As soon as you enter the home, you will be blown away by the modern decor, cool lighting fixtures, white-washed vibes, granite countertop, and artwork in the living room. We love the modern touches and the blue accents that make it feel like you are living in a high-end beach home, not a sterile hotel room.

The living room features a large couch with a coffee table that is great for resting your feet after a long day of surfing on the beach. You can also lay down on the couch and enjoy watching a show on the smart TV, gazing out of the large windows at the pristine views in the distance, or playing a game of cards with your friends.

Kitchen

Do you need to make a few snacks for your guests before you head to the beach? If you are in the mood to make a beach picnic, use the modern kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and high bar stool seating to put together a nice beach lunch to enjoy on the white sand Holmes Beach.

The kitchen is easy to use and functional, ensuring that you will enjoy using it — even if you are no Master Chef or Top Chef! You will love the granite countertop island for serving happy hour rinks, high top bar seats for extra seating, stainless steel new appliances for quickly making food, and white cabinets for storing snacks.

Dining Room

Plus, once you have made a nice dinner spread or breakfast buffet for your guests, you can sit at the large wooden dining room table to enjoy a meal together. The dining room table features two chairs and two benches, providing comfortable and spacious seating for all of your guests to easily fit.

Amenities

Just because you are staying in a condo for your vacation, this doesn’t mean that you won’t have added amenities like you would find in a hotel. In fact, they are better! This accommodation features a waterfront Beach club with a private pool so you can swim on your own and teach your kids how to freestyle! Plus, you can make use of the equipped fitness center to stay healthy on vacation and use the yoga lawn for an early morning relaxation session.

We also offer a kayak launch to head out on the water and exercise trials for using your bike for a sunset ride or going for a morning walk.

Other amenities that make our rental stand out among the rest are the washer and dryer within the unit, sky bar and restaurant, outdoor lighting for alfresco dining, Wi-Fi for remote working possibilities, provided towels for using at the beach, outdoor grills for barbecues, and self-check-in procedure.

Bedrooms

Last but not least, we have plush and spacious bedrooms. If you are in charge of this vacation, chances are you are going to jump at the chance to claim the master! And we don’t blame you — the master bedroom here features incredible views of Anna Maria Sound. Wake up after a full night of sleep in the plush king-sized bed and get ready to tackle the day. You can make a cup of coffee in the kitchen and turn on the 55” smart TV to wake up to your favorite TV show.

And don’t worry, your guests will love their own rooms, too. The second bedroom has a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom for rinsing the sand off of your feet after a long day of being on the beach. Plus, the third bedroom features bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom, making it the ideal room for solo travelers or teens who want their own space.

"We loved our stay at Anchor Down's condo. The place was clean, and we felt at home upon arrival. A representative called us the morning after check-in to ensure we had everything we needed. The covered parking spot was a plus, and the pool was perfectly located. The bikes and beach chairs provided were a nice touch as well. We would recommend this place and Anchor Down's to anyone looking for a clean perfectly located home away from home. We will definitely be back again!

"This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed on this property and even in this same building, but 1st time in this unit. We enjoyed the sunset views on the sound from this unit and if you're not staying oceanfront it really is a great option.The place was clean and spacious for my family. When we stayed here last year, we were able to walk around the entire community and my husband and I enjoyed that.We would stay here again.

"We enjoyed our stay at the Holmes Beach Retreat. The location is excellent, a very short drive to the beaches on AMI and close to more complete services in Bradenton if you should need them. The condo is spacious and comfortably furnished, with a lovely lanai from which we watched pelicans, roseate spoonbills, and egrets. The layout of the condo is very nice as well, with the master bedroom off the main living area and the other two bedrooms off a separate hall. And since there are no beach chair rentals on the AMI beaches it is really convenient that the condo's storage unit next to the assigned parking spot has beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach accessories for you to use.

"This has been one of our favorite vacation rentals! Great location, updated and stylish interior, quiet, and beautiful views of the water and mangroves. We were directly across from the community pool, and in walking distance is the marina, ships store and hotel bar/waterfront restaurant. Perfect stay and experience!

"WOW! What an immaculate home! Not only was the apartment clean and exactly as listed, but it was fully stocked with everything you could possibly want for a vacation. The sunset views from the screened-in porch were stunning and the ease of getting to the pool and available amenities was second to none. The unit had a storage closet FULL of anything you could want for the beach, including a wagon to lug everything! We were a family of 7 (including 2 small children) and we felt the unit was incredibly spacious. The location was amazing, 10 min drive to Anna Maria Island and generally so much to do in the area. The area felt very secure and safe as well. We will definitely be returning!

"The unit is beautiful, modern, spacious and very clean. Design has a subtle beachy vibe. Bunk beds were a great touch for my family and each room had a bathroom to call its own. Kitchen was very well equipped and great for entertaining. The property is just across the bridge from Anna Maria island and one of its primary beaches. Access the island via a quick drive, bike ride or trolley (free!). Pool, splash pad and playground were all enjoyed my my kids. Overall a great stay - have already recommended to family and friends.

"We enjoyed our stay at Holmes Beach Retreat. Very convenient to beaches and all restaurants around the island. It was in a very nice, quiet gated community with a nice pool, grilling area and children’s playground. Highly recommend the restaurant (Floridays) on the property. We rented through Anchored Down Vacation rentals. Kristi was very helpful with all our questions. This rental also had a storage closet that had bicycles, beach chairs, pool toys,etc.

"This property was amazing to stay in. It was beautiful. Lanai was so relaxing and the furniture was very comfortable. Plenty of room even with a table that would seat 6. Nice open space inside. Two of the bedrooms had king beds which is a must for us. The 3rd bedroom had bunk beds. Great for a large family. Pool wasn't crowded. However, the pool was much too small for this complex. I imagine in the summer it's very crowded and you would have a hard time finding a place to sit. Plenty of umbrellas to stay out of the sun if you wanted too. Great location. We will definitely go back there again. The property managers were amazing to work with.
